Get stamped. 6) Begin DS 4B.12 in groups.

In Class: 1) Turn in RN 4B.7. 2) Quick stamp MD 4B.8 #1,2,3 calculations and Data Analysis Calculations. 3) Get corrections/notes for MD 4B.8 #1-3 and #4. Finish #5-6 for HW. 4) Go over postlab: IM 4B.6 Data Table guide, Data Analysis #1 and 2:

#1- Quantity of thermal energy absorbed by water (and releasd by metal) = (mass of water) x (highest temp in calorimeter-lowest) x 4.18 J/(g C). 1 ml water = 1 gram water.

#2-Specific heat of metal = Quantity energy released (your answer to #1) “OVER” mass of metal sample x (highest temp of metal-lowest).

5) Questions#1-3. Finish Questions and Interpretation for HW. 6) Get MM 4B.10 Incomplete Combustion/Limiting Reagents handout. 7) Input from Mr. D. on next year science options. See Science Course Prerequisites and Reccommendations

In Class: 1) Make sure prelab and data table ready for IM 4B.6 Specific Heat Capacity. 2) do lab w/ Shroedinger Partner (stamp 2nd Semester Partner Sheet spot). 3) Stamp Data Table and begin Data Analysis.

HW prep for Tuesday, 4B-Day 3 (See 4B Schedule) : 1) Complete 4B Day 1 and 2. 2) Head start on prelab for IM 4B.6.
